MTB Grand Edition 2018 & Incentive Travel Excellence Night (ITEx Night)

An Excellent Reflection of The Strong and Innovative Polish MICE Market. SITE Poland and Travel Bidder in joint effort to promote excellence of incentive travel in front of 300 international professionals, ambassadors, SITE Poland members and media at a great banquet at the end of Meet the Bidder day in Warsaw.

SITE Poland, together with the Travel Bidder company – the organizer of B2B fairs for the MICE industry – was the co-host of the Incentive Travel Excellence Night (ITEx Night) that took place on 21st November, 2018 in Warsaw. The ITEx Night banquet followed the Meet The Bidder SMART fairs (MTB) which took place earlier that day.

SITE Poland did what it does best – gathered industry leaders, its members and representatives of other industry associations operating in Poland, foreign MICE professionals and exhibitors of MTB, local partners, Ambassadors and industry media. ITEx Night gathered 300 international professionals.

The evening programme of the banquet was designed to showcase the strategy which is the foundation of the Polish Chapter: PITCH (Poland – Incentive Travel Central Hub). Cezary Wilemajtys, President of SITE Poland, showed in his presentation how strong, innovative and well-organized the Polish MICE market is. He also solemnly distinguished the senior members of SITE: Krzysztof Pobożniak, Krzysztof Celuch, Krzysztof Michniewicz, Elżbieta Grykałowska, Grażyna Grot-Duziak and Monika Wąs – for their longtime trust and membership.

All new members - ones who joined SITE Poland in 2018, were invited to the stage and distinguished by Grażyna Grot-Duziak, vice-president of SITE Poland responsible for membership. The SITE Poland Chapter is happy to announce that it now counts 42 members that provide the association with even more strength and motivation to act.

The co-hosts and Partners of the night delivered relevant examples of innovation and creative thinking of the MICE market in Poland, as well as focused the attention on the power of research. Krzysztof Celuch, SITE Poland member and CEO of Celuch Consulting, presented to the audience the results of the Incentive Travel Industry Index research, which the audience followed with great attention.

One of the Partners of ITEx Night - Miha Kovačič , Director of the Slovenian Convention Bureau and also a member of SITE - gave a speech devoted to the promotion of Slovenia as another example of a central European MICE destination that can boast about its innovative approach to every MICE realisation.

Another Partner – Andrzej Szumowski, CEO of the Polish Vodka Foundation, President of the Polish Vodka Association - dedicated (via a pre-recorded video) his speech to the participants of the ITEx Night, welcomed the international guests and spoke about the one of the newest venues opened in Poland – the Polish Vodka Museum, which aim is again to show the innovative approach of the Poles towards tradition. There was a fantastic response to his video speech, which was one of the biggest highlights of the evening.

The co-hosts - Cezary Wilemajtys and Katarzyna Kałuża-Nawrot (SITE Poland board member and general manager of Travel Bidder), ended the official part of the ITEx Night with a standing toast: „To excellence in everything we do.”
